What are the differences between Waterdrop and other brands of under-sink water filtration systems?
What is the rated input water pressure of the 3-stage under sink filtration system?
The input water pressure is rated for 14.5-87 psi / 0.1-0.6 MPa.
What is the feed water temperature of this undersink filtration system?
The feed water temperature of this 3-stage under sink filtration system is 41-100℉ / 5-38℃.
How to install the undersink dual carbon filtration system?
Step 1: Install the feed water adapter.
Step 2: Install the faucet.
Step 3: Install the batteries and place the system.
Step 4: Connect tubing.
Step 5: Start up the system.
You can get a detailed instruction and a user manual on the product page.
What size and quality tubing does this dual carbon filtration system need? 1/4 or 3/8"?
The tubing for undersink installation is included in the package.
The inlet tubing is 3/8" and the outlet 1/4". We use food-grade PE tubing to ensure water taste and safety.
How to drill a hole for the faucet of this undersink dual carbon filtration system?
Please confirm if there is an existing hole available to install the faucet. If not, please drill a hole in accordance with the following steps. It's highly recommended to watch the YouTube video "How to Drill Faucet Holes" for a better understanding of the process. There is also a sticker for your reference to drilling the hole. Remember to wear safety glasses to protect your eyes while drilling the faucet hole.
Step 1: Choose a diamond drill bit for granite, and a carbide drill bit for stainless steel. Do not use a hammer drill on natural stone, glass, or ceramic.
Step 2: Glue the sticker on your sink or countertop, and drill a hole referring to the sticker hole size (1%").
Step 3: Make an indent with a center punch on a stainless-steel sink before drilling to help guide the bit.
Step 4: Be careful when drilling on a porcelain sink, as it can be easily chipped. Apply downward pressure firmly on the bit until you break through the surface.
Step 5: Start at the lowest speed, and hold the drill straight with firm pressure to prevent the bit from walking on the counter.
Step 6: Once you break through the surface, swirl the drill a little to apply pressure in a circle evenly.
How often do I need to change the under sink carbon filters?
The
PP filter has a 6-month lifespan; the
CS filter has a 12-month lifespan; the
CT filter has a 12-month lifespan (This may vary based on water conditions). The system has smart filter life indicators on the panel that will remind you to replace the filter.
Does the undersink dual carbon filtration system produce waste-water?
Unlike other water filtration systems that generate a lot of waste-water, this dual carbon filtration system produces prime-quality purified water with zero waste-water.
Does the dual carbon filtration system require a wall plug?
The system does not require an electricity supply, which means you do not have to worry about your power supply under the kitchen cabinet. Therefore, you can drink clean and safe purified water even in emergencies like a power blackout.
Why less water flows out from my faucet?
Please check the filter life indicator. If the filter has expired, replace it immediately.
The water inlet pressure is abnormal. The normal water inlet pressure is 14.5-87psi, please check the water inlet pressure and use the filter after the pressure is normal. If the water inlet pressure is too low for a long period of time, install a booster pump before use.
The water inlet and outlet valves are not fully opened. Please check the cold water valve, feed water adapter, and faucet to ensure that they are fully opened.
The filter is blocked. If the water quality is poor, the filter may become blocked after being used for a certain period of time. It will need to be replaced. If using well water as the source, please make sure the feed water has been through a
pre-filtration system, otherwise, large particles in well water will clog the filter easily and shorten filter life.
The inlet water tubing or outlet water tubing is bent. Please check and straighten out the inlet and outlet water tubing.
Why the filtered water of Waterdrop undersink dual carbon filtration system tastes weird?
The filters have expired. Please check the filter life indicators. Replace the filters immediately if they have expired.
If you haven't used the system in a long time, turn on the faucet and flush it for a while before drinking.
The filters are installed in the wrong order. The numbers of the filters should be the same as those on the system housing. Please verify that the filters are in the correct order.
Why the indicators of the dual carbon filtration system do not work?
The indicators are in an energy-saving mode in normal use. You must press any filter reset button to start the indicators and check them.
The batteries are not installed and the electric circuit is not connected. Please refer to the instructions to install the batteries again.
The battery voltage is insufficient. In this case, the batteries will need to be replaced.
The display cable is not plugged in. Please contact Waterdrop customer service.
The main difference between TSC and TSU are:
Filtration accuracy: TSU 0.01μm / TSC 0.5μm
Different filter: TSC: 3 filters, PP+CS+CT / TSU: 3 filters, PP+UF+CT
The TSU can reduce the bacteria from the source water while the TSC cannot.
Can I use the Waterdrop UF filter on this undersink dual carbon filtration system?
You could not use UF filter in this TSC system. Because the logic and setting between the smart filter life reminder in TSC and TSU are different, therefore the installation of the UF replacement filter to TSC will affect your judgment of the filter's service life. We do not recommend this.
If you want to have an ultrafiltration function, please choose our
TSU ultrafiltration system.
