What is a spin-down filer?
A spin-down filter is really geared to capture large particulate, thins like sand, rust chunks from a decomposing well. It’s really geared and designed to do what we call the heavy lifting. Not like a real fine micron sediment filter. A spin- down is really designed to get big chunks, big debris and sand.
How does Spin Down Sediment Filter work?
A spin-down filter works by using centripetal force. The design of the head, diverts water into the chamber. The design of the head, diverts water into the chamber in a fashion that circulates the water through the housing, and in the centripetal force, the dirt and debris is literally pushed to the outside of the clear housing, and then it’s allowed to settle down into the bottom. Also, you don’t have to dismantle all your tubes and pipe fixtures when you need to clean our sediment filter. Once it gets saturated with sediment, all you need to do is apply the innovative backwash function. It is designed to quickly flush out dirt or suspended solids that have been trapped in the filter. Regular flushing will also help extend the lifespan of the filter.
