In pursuance of its goal to help thousands of African households access healthy and pure drinking water, Waterdrop will sponsor The Water Project (TWP)
for the next three years. Waterdrop with TWP will be funding many water projects across Western Kenya designed to solve the drinking water problems – the main pointer to poor hygienic conditions.
Before now, Waterdrop has collaborated with TWP to launch Water4Smile
– a program targeted at building new toilets and handwashing stations for sub-Saharan African schools. The beneficiaries are poor children in need of improved water use conditions. The program also solves the problem of poor water facilities or being absent altogether. With over 5,500 students reached since its inception, the Water4Smile has been a huge success.
Since its birth in 2015, Waterdrop
has upheld and pursued the primary goal of solving water problems worldwide. The company is known for hundreds of reliable and excellent purification solutions, resulting in its global reverence as one of the best water purification brands in the market.

Waterdrop and The Water Project
The Water Project is a well-known charity organization with the vision to provide sub-Saharan African communities with sustainable water solutions that relieve them of the shortage of clean water resources and standard hygiene facilities.
Waterdrop is a world-renowned water purification brand specializing in designing and producing efficient water purification solutions. While Waterdrop leverages the most advanced technology to create smart purification products, it is also a giant in research and development. The brand also prioritizes the design and manufacturing of core systems and technologies by combining R&D, production, and sales.
The global economy is rapidly developing, thanks to technology. The United Nation’s focus has now shifted to environmental issues. Safe and healthy water use is one of the leading public environmental issues on the UN’s list. Unfortunately, most families in sub-Saharan Africa
do not have access to safe and healthy water.
Beatrice, a mom in the Kyabagabu in Uganda, laments their lack of clean water. “Abdominal pains and diarrheal diseases regularly attack my children. I have also been found to be suffering from typhoid fever recently,” she said.
The current water use state in these areas call for attention. Therefore, Waterdrop and The Water Project will help African communities living in unsafe water conditions access pure and clean water resources seamlessly.
Besides funding TWP’s projects, Waterdrop will also be a firm supporter of the water use industry in Western Africa.
We have high hopes for the sub-Saharan African community, and we can’t wait to see these hopes turn to reality.
