The water quality has become the focal point of public health in the U.S. with news of water crisis taking up the headlines since the Flint water crisis. With the wish for a brand that can provide trust-worthy water purification solutions to solve the problem, Waterdrop was founded in 2015. The brand dedicates to provide global users with high-quality water purification solutions to fuel various water needs. The name Waterdrop comes from the wish to deliver clean, safe, and healthy drinking water from the first sip to the last drop.

Company Honor

Since 2015, Waterdrop has designed, engineered, and delivered more than 200 water purification products including refrigerator water filter, reverse osmosis filtration system, pitcher water filter, faucet water filter. With over 100 patents from multiple countries, the team of professional product designers is committed to a quest of excellence. The ability to identify local and global trends and translate these into meaningful innovations that meet consumer demand is what drives the growth of Waterdrop.

Besides the continuous innovation and passion for perfection, Waterdrop dedicates to create shared value and positive impacts for the whole society. The company sources raw materials in accordance with the highest standards of the industry, which a team of experts vets every piece of the materials to ensure it meets those standards by researching ingredients, auditing sourcing practices, and testing products. Almost all of Waterdrop’s products have passed certifications and tests, such as NSF, CSA, WQA, UPC, WARS, UL certification, and FCC test. The belief of sustainability throughout all operations is part of Waterdrop’s DNA.


Waterdrop has worked with The Water Project and launched the Water4Smile program to offer clean water for needy children in the sub-Saharan Africa area. The program promises to provide one day of clean water from each Waterdrop filter purchase. Through the Water4Smile program, Waterdrop will provide two school-based water solutions including hygiene and sanitation education, construction of 6 new latrines, and installation of two hand-washing stations. The project has served approximately 5,500 students so far.
