osmosis membrane. However, bacteria that isn’t intercepted by RO membrane will still grow in internal
waterway and even faucet. UV sterilizer can perfectly solve this problem because it can filter out up to
99.9% bacteria in water. So, it is best to combine UV disinfection with water filtration for the purest
drinking water.
Do I need to replace the UV lamp regularly?
No, it is not. You can use the lamp for up to 50 years or more. It uses an

Regarding using our RO unit with well water
As far as we know, using
well water as a source for our RO systems is not recommended.
The reasons are as follows:
a. Large
particles.
Compared to municipal tap water, the well water is rich in large particles, which will
clog the filters easily, and shorten their life significantly.
Please note that the
filters will still need to be replaced more frequently, even if you have added a pre-filtration
system.
b. Composition
The well water has a very complicated composition, and some of them (apart
from the large particles) can cause the filter or internal valve to be clogged and prevent the RO system
from functioning normally.
c. Water pressure
The well water may not provide the feed water
pressure that the RO system requires (14.5 psi min.). Furthermore, the water pressure will be even lower
after passing through pre-filtration systems.
Can I use our own faucet?
No, you cannot. Your original kitchen faucet may not be compatible with
the system. Therefore, we have included a dedicated faucet in this reverse osmosis water system.
Why is the RO remineralization filter necessary?
Because reverse osmosis water filtration system has a high filtration
accuracy, leaving no minerals in the filtered water. While drinking mineral water is beneficial for
