Yes, we suggest you flush the filter extensively before using it to get rid of the little black charcoals inside.
Does this filter fit my garden mist cooling system?
Yes, it can be used with the garden mist cooling system to prevent calcium deposits from blocking nozzles and prolong the life of the atomizer.
Does the Waterdrop garden hose filter fit on my water hose?
Waterdrop garden hose filter can be attached to any standard 3/4" garden or water hose. We suggest you check the size of your water hose before ordering.
Can I use the inline hose water filter for hot water?
The answer is no. The hot water cannot be filtered by inline garden hose water filter effectively because it may reverse the process of absorbing contaminants, causing the release of pollutants back into the water. So we only suggest you use the garden hose filter for cold water.
How to know when I should replace the inline hose filter?
Follow the guidance to replace the filter every 4 months. The lifespan may vary based on your water conditions.
How to keep the water filter for the garden hose after using it?
One way to help preserve the filter is to put it in a ziplock bag with some water left in the filter, then seal the bag and place it in a cool place, such as a refrigerator (do not freeze the filter). The cooling temperature will keep the filter fresh. Rinse the filter with water for a few minutes before you use it again.
