Introducing The All-new Waterdrop G3P600: The Upgrades and More
by Dr. Jonathan Doyle - Updated January 13, 2023
Waterdrop introduced the newest product in its G3 product line on January 3, the
G3P600, a much-improved model of the flagship 400 GPD G3. The G3P600 is expected to perform excellently as other
models in the G3 series but with an improved capacity, water flow, faucet intelligence, and pure-to-drain ratio.
The RO System You Can Always Trust
The launch of the G3, the first-ever tankless water filter in the Amazon US market, won Waterdrop the Red Dot
Award. Therefore, it is unsurprising that this filtration system made record sales on the market. The water
filters from the brand Waterdrop are known for adopting safe filter materials and providing an outstanding user
experience.
World-Class Certifications
The 600 GPD reverse osmosis water filtration system boasts an NSF/ANSI 372
certification for containing
lead-free materials and an NSF/ANSI
58 for TDS reduction. In addition, the filter system effectively reduces the
amount and concentration of harmful substances like carbofuran, benzene, alachlor, and chloroform in the water
to permissible limits as specified in NSF
standards. This ensures that the water you get from the system is safe
and healthy to drink.
Best-in-Class Filtration Process
An efficient three-stage filter setup handles the filtration performance of the Waterdrop G3 series. This
comprises a CF filter, a CB filter, and a RO filter. The 3-in-1 composite CF filter uses Sri Lankan coconut
shell carbon block to effectively remove odor, taste, chlorine, solids, rust, sand, and other impurities in
water. The water then moves to the CB water filter, where taste improvement happens without using chemicals. The
advanced composite filtration technology of the reverse osmosis filter with a
pore size of 0.0001 micrometers
ensures an efficient interception of most harmful contaminants. Overall, we have an 8-stage deep filtration in
the G3 series RO system that always provides you with premium filtered water.
Contemporary Tankless Design
Most homeowners are usually undecided between a tanked or tankless under sink water purifier. Conventional tank
water filters are known to take up a large amount of space and are susceptible to secondary pollution.
Fortunately, the tankless design of the G3 means users can get a sleek, compact-shaped under sink water
filtration unit that helps conserve space while delivering the best filtration performance.
The G3 series RO system sports a stylish and attractive design. The absence of a tank means you can save up to
70% under sink space without compromising water safety with this Waterdrop reverse osmosis system. In his review
of the product, a user stated that he would “even go as far to consider it stylish in today’s kitchen trends...”
You can trust that this tankless
reverse osmosis water filter will constantly produce clean drinking water on
request at all times.
Seamless Installation and Replacement
You can hardly install the traditional RO system with a tank without the help of a plumber. The same goes for
the filter replacement process—both are complex. The complexity is one of the reasons homeowners are looking
into better alternatives.
The Waterdrop G3 series takes just 30 minutes to install, while the filter replacement takes just seconds. You
can make both fun DIYs by following the detailed instructions and steps outlined in the G3P600 user manual.
There is also an installation video that guides you through the entire process, even if you are a home
improvement novice.
When it comes to filter replacement, the simplicity of tankless water filter systems makes them a favorite among
homeowners. You can remove the old filter by twisting and pulling it out before slotting in the new filter.
Optional Remineralization Filter
You can choose to include a remineralization filter in your G3 series filter system. The role of
remineralization is to restore minerals like potassium, sodium, magnesium, and calcium to filtered water. Your
body can benefit a lot from remineralized water—it helps prevent chronic diseases, aids digestion, improves
immunity, and slows down the aging process.
The RO mineralization filter for the G3P600 is designed to connect with the ¼” tubing. Therefore, it works
perfectly with most RO systems, refrigerators, and under-sink water filtration systems in the market.
Essential Feature Upgrades
In addition to being the first new product to find its way into the market in 2023, the G3P600 is designed to
offer much-improved water purification performances and features.

Extended Filtration Capacity
The G3P600 tankless reverse osmosis system is designed to produce 600 gallons of filtered water daily.
Considering that the daily water usage of the average American family is over 300 gallons, you can rest assured
that this water filter system will meet your water needs, especially indoors.
Faster Water Flow
Another advantage of this Waterdrop filter’s 600 GPD large filtration capacity is its faster and more stable
water flow. While the traditional 400 GPD G3 fills up an 8 oz cup in 12s, the G3P600 does the same in just 8s.
This is because of its faster 0.42 gal/min flow rate.
Users who review traditional reverse osmosis systems often mention the slow drop of filtered water. Waterdrop
realized this and upgraded our flagship product, G3, to offer a larger filtration capacity and faster flow rate
to ensure the best user experience.
Improved Pure-to-Drain Ratio
The G3P600 offers a 2:1 pure-to-drain ratio. This means that for every two cups of filtered water produced, it
produces just a cup of wastewater. As a result, you can save 2x waste water compared to the previous 400 GPD
version. The more wastewater you save, the lower your water and energy bills.
Waterdrop remains focused on reducing carbon emissions and contributing to sustainable development for everyone
around the world.
Interactive, Smart Faucet Display
The G3P600 reverse osmosis water filter system comes with an inbuilt smart display faucet, which helps you keep
track of the current state of your filtered water in time. You can monitor the TDS levels, filter life, and more
through the faucet display, all in real time. This helps you to plan your filter replacement dates and know the
quality of your drinking water.
